Last day of birding for 2009
It's been almost a year since I went to Hesaraghatta & I decided to end the year 2009 by making a visit to Hesaraghatta lake. Pandith & Abhijit joined me. It was their first visit to Hesaraghatta & no one returns empty handed from this place! It's just amazing how many variety of birds are around this place. I'm yet to identify this raptor. It looks like a Marsh Harrier to me. Do confirm if you know.

ReplyDeleteI have only just discovered your blog. Checking all my books it looks like a Brahminy Kite. Having never seen one I can't be sure. Good luck anyway.
